Here's a flavour of some of events our children have been involved with over the last year.
Easter is always a busy time for us! Our children take part in traditional egg rolling, egg painting and Easter Bonnet Parades. Easter isn't complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny and lots of chocolate…!
Our May Day celebration is a wonderful afternoon of tradition include the crowning of our May Day King and Queen, Maypole and Country dancing.
Swimming Gala
Our Swimming Gala is held at Edlington Swimming Baths, the week before we close for the Summer Break. All the pupils take part in the Gala, non-swimmers give a display of what they have learnt, the older pupil's take part in swimming events.
The end of the summer term is always marked by a much anticipated trip to a stately home. This year the children went to Cusworth Hall and had a great time looking around the house and dressing up and enacting the Victorian age, as servants and gentry!
Our school pantomime is unique! Written by our Headmistress, you will never find anything like it anywhere else! All our children take part in this monumental event and parents are often left in floods of tears at the sheer joy of it all, and often amazed at how their children perform on stage.

Christmas at Sycamore Hall is a truly magical experience of Snowman's Wood, the Toy Shop, Nutcracker Suite and singing carols under a giant Christmas Tree! There is always a Christmas party, trip to the theatre to see a panto, Fancy Dress competition and the essential visit from Santa!
